I thought it would be a good idea if everyone left a comment/well wish for Chloe on this post. She LOVES getting comments on this blog, so I think once she's able to come here and read them all she's going to be thrilled! You don't have to sign up for an account, I just ask that if you do an anonymous comment, please sign your name to it. We're going to read these while she's laying in her bed for words of encouragement.
I know that Ryan and I have been so encouraged by your words on FB, so we want these comments to be specifically for our Gracey!!!
P.S. Take a look at some of her posts from the last couple of weeks - they are so stinkin' cute!

ReplyDeleteI think I fell head over heals in love with you the minute you came into the 2 & 3 year old room at church. There are some kids that are just so easy to love, and you are that kind of girl. Everytime you came in, my day got better. You are one of the sweetest little girls I know and I want you to know that I've been praying for you lots. I know that God will be bringing you home soon to snuggle up in your own little bed at home. We're all waiting to see you at church, so let us know when you're coming so that we can have a grand "Chloe Welcome Home" celebration! Big hugs to you and I'll be seeing you soon!
Love, Miss Joan
Hi Chloe, I have known your mom and her family since she was little. We grew up in the same church. Chloe you are a miracle girl. It is amazing how God is answering all the prayer requests your mom is posting on fb. God is so good and I know you are very loved by so many.
ReplyDeleteI actually had a collapsed lung and a tube put in when I was 18 yrs. old. They thought it might have happened when I took a hard fall on a jet ski. Now it is just an interesting story to tell. You will always have such a miracle to share with others, and in turn share Jesus with them. That is awesome!!
My family and I will continue to pray for you and complete healing in your body. We will pray for your mom and dad too, and hope they get enough sleep :)
love, Jen Paul Kooyenga and family

Dear Chloe,
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you remember our family, but we have known your mom and dad a long time.
Your blog is so neat! I really love how you mentioned Aldi and the prices there. I love to shop at Aldi! Your mom was the one who turned me in to a crazy coupon lady!
I am so very thankful that God is answering each and every one of the prayers that we offer up to Him about you.
We are praying that God will continue to heal you so that you can come home and sleep in your own bed!
You are a very special Child of God, Chloe.

Hi Chloe,
ReplyDeleteYou probably don't remember us because we haven't seen you in too long, but we have been friends with your mom & dad for a long time. In fact, I think Mr. Matt & your daddy have been friends since they were your age! Our little girl, Faith, is in Mrs. Detmar's class at Crown Point Christian School. Didn't you have Mrs. Detmar too?
We think you are such a beautiful girl. We know you've been through a lot, and you've been so brave. We've been praying for you so much. Faith prays for you before we eat dinner, and again before she goes to bed at night. I didn't sleep much the night I heard about your accident; I just couldn't stop praying for you.
We hope that you will feel better very soon & be able to go back to school & do the things you love to do. We were so impressed with your blog; you're a great writer! Keep it up, sweetie.
God is using you, Chloe. You must be very special to Him. Your accident & recovery is bringing him glory!
We're going to keep praying for you, sweet Chloe. And your whole family. Get lots of rest & we hope we can see you soon!

Dear Chloe,
ReplyDeleteHi Chloe! Its me Autumn. I miss you in Group 3 in class. I am so sorry that you got hurt. I am praying for you and so is my family. I prayed last night that God could make something good out of something so bad. I feel so much better now that I know that you are feeling a little better. I will keep praying for you until I see your happy, smiling face at school.
Guess what? Today, in science we started making mobiles and in math we started multiplication. Dont worry - you are good at math and will understand it really easy.

I really hope that you heal quickly so you can go home soon and come back to school. oh yeah, I cannot wait to see your new haircut! That will be something exciting for you to look forward to!

Hey There Chloe!
ReplyDeleteWe've been praying for you since the moment we heard, along with all our friends and our whole church up here in Chicago. Thanks to your Aunt Tara we can now see your adorable blog! We were all set to come visit you at Comer last Friday when Pam told us the wonderful news that you'd gotten so much better you were already home! How powerful prayer is! God sure is healing you - supporting you and your whole family.
So many people love you honey and we're all going to keep on praying that you'll keep on feeling better and better. You are such a STRONG, BRAVE, girl Chloe!
And as my dad reminded me many times, "all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose." That verse tells us God always bring us through things that aren't easy - as he has clearly done and will continue to do for you! Your magnificent story of God's healing and love is already enlarging his territory and bringing people together. We love you so much sweetie and we can't wait to see you one day soon.
Peace to you and your family,
Dave, Sharon, Hannah & Katie De Young
